2026/2027 General Fees
MSLBRA Rodeos 1 & 2 (August 15 & 16, 2026) - Entries are open and close Monday, August 3rd at Midnight
Event Entry Fee — $20.00
Cattle Charge Per Class — $15.00
Goat Charge Per Class — $7.00
Rough Stock Charge Per Class — $40.00 GATE Fee - $5.00
NLBRA Fee — $15.00 MSLBRA Fee — $10.00
Late Fee — $30.00
Convenience Fee — 3.5% processing fee on Horsespot or $5.00 per PayPal transaction
If you miss the deadline, please text the secretary at 601-507-7246 to see if entries are still being accepted. No entries can be taken after FRIDAY at 9PM (the week before the rodeo week.) Example: If the rodeo is August 19-20, then no late entries after August 11th.
2026-2027 RODEO ENTRIES!
If you have not created a HORSESPOT username or password, you will need to do that first. You will enter each rodeo separately. (So, you will complete this process twice if you are entering both Saturday and Sunday’s rodeo.) Simply search MSLBRA under ‘find your shows’ on Horsespot to enter.
Pay close attention to divisions. The system shows all events, not just the events you are eligible for.
***Payments*** You will be asked to store a credit card in the HorseSpot system. You will NOT be charged at checkout and the total shown does not include the processing fee. Once your entries are verified and accepted you will receive an email confirmation. The confirmation will NOT list what you entered in. If you need to check your entries, you can see them on your HorseSpot account under ‘my shows.’
Your card on file will be CHARGED ON THE PAYMENT DEADLINE (the Friday, one week before the rodeo). You will receive an email receipt when the card on file is charged. This receipt will display your fee breakdown and include the system processing fee. If payment is not received by the 9pm deadline, it will be a $30 late fee per contestant, per rodeo.
Not a current NLBRA member? You can still enter! Simply text your entries to 601-507-7246. There is a $25 non-member fee per rodeo. This fee goes directly to the National Office to cover your insurance for that rodeo.
Entry Deadline: Online entries close Monday at midnight, two weeks prior to the rodeo. See rodeo schedule tab for online entry and payment deadline dates.
Late Entries: Late entries will be accepted after the rodeo entry deadline (Monday) and will close at 9pm on the Friday one week before the rodeo weekend (the same week as the online entries close.) There is a $30 late fee per rodeo, per contestant and late entries must be sent via text to the secretary, Kat Breedlove at 601-507-7246.
Draw Out Procedure: Contestants may draw out without cause prior to 9pm on the Friday one week before the rodeo weekend. If you need to draw out after that time, a doctor or vet excuse is required to be given to the secretary. Convenience/Office fees are non-refundable. Stock fees are non-refundable after noon on the Friday of the rodeo weekend.
